Are there any law / building by-law of development authority which specifies about the Maximum %age that can be loaded to carpet area to arrive at super built up area?

There is no law which specifies or restricts the maximum percentage that can be loaded to carpet area to arrive at super built up area; super built up area include only the common area like lobby, walls, lift, staircase, gen-set rooms, security rooms and others. Super built up area denotes that including the carpet area, wall thickness, the common area, which will be added in the built up area. In general, the super built up area which is between 15% to 25% is reasonably acceptable.
