I am planning to buy Gramathana site from one of my friend near Kengeri, Bangalore. Still it is not converted site.  Are there problems with these types of sites? Can BDA legally acquire such sites?  If yes, what is the impact? If site / Khata are in my name (after conversion) do I get compensation from BDA?

Most of the Gramathana sites are carved out of revenue land which cannot be regularized.  It is better you avoid purchasing this type of sites.
