I have purchased a property and the vendor has executed the Sale Deed in favour of me. Kindly enlighten me whether I have to preserve the agreement entered with the Vendor as a document along with the Sale Deed?

If the agreement, sale deed and the Sale consideration mentioned is one and the same, you could maintain the agreement as a part of the title deed but it is not mandatory. In case the agreement details are mentioned in the Sale Deed, it is a must to maintain the sale agreement as a part of the sale deed.
Further, if the agreement sale consideration is more than the sale value in the sale deed for the benefit of the stamp duty, you are not supposed to maintain the agreement, which is contrary to the Sale Deed.
