Purchasing a flat along with an undivided share of land is to enable the purchaser to hold certain percentage of undivided share of land which is not ear marked in the total property. Undivided share of land is only a right on the total property along with the other co-owners. In case of demolition, with the consent of all the co-owners, the owners can jointly construct a new apartment proportionate to their share.
