When registering a sale deed, should I mention the guidelines value or the purchase value? In the sale deed can I mention the actual purchase value though the purchase value is more than the guidelines value and pay stamp duty corresponding to the guidelines value?

You can show the actual purchase value in the sale deed. If the purchase value is more than the guidelines value, you are liable to pay the stamp duty for the real value. If the purchase value is less than the guidelines value, you are liable to pay the stamp duty as per the guidelines value.
